About
Lindsy is an architect in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She studied architecture at Louisiana Tech University and received her M. Arch in 2015. Lindsy began her career in commercial architecture with much of her project experience in K-12 and charter schools. Now, she works on a wide range of commercial projects across south Louisiana.
Licensure
Lindsy became a licensed architect in 2022. While her path to licensure was “traditional” (NAAB degree, AXP, ARE) she faced many challenges during her examination journey including personal challenges that come with balancing a full time career and personal life, ARE transition from 4.0 to 5.0, and testing through a pandemic. Her successes and failures help her to better advise licensure candidates because she understands the commitment, sacrifice, and perseverance it takes to become a licensed architect.
Architect Licensing Advisors are volunteers committed to assisting licensure candidates and architects as they navigate the path to licensure and reciprocity. Architect licensing advisors provide guidance throughout the licensure process by facilitating the flow of information to architecture students, licensure candidates, and architects.
Lindsy became an Architect Licensing Advisor in 2023 and has since attended NCARB retreats, summits, and webinars to learn about all paths available to licensure. Lindsy has a working relationship with the Louisiana State Board of Architectural Examiners and has many resources through NCARB to better aid candidates of any background on becoming a licensed architect.
